About this wine
Rooted in a winemaking tradition in the Aso Valley that dates back more than a thousand years to the Benedictine monks of Farfa. An evocative expression of Italy’s Marche region, this Rosso reveals deep, concentrated black fruit flavors, seamlessly balanced with hints of spice, herbs, fruits, and earth. Deep with richness of soul and history, this full-bodied red wine offers fine ripe blackberry, plum, subtle vanilla and tobacco from french oak, with a lovely hint of nettle and hedgerow. It remains bright fruit throughout with calcareous minerality, spices, and a long smooth finish.
